There are three levels of CPRS accreditation

The CPRS offers three levels of certification for its members and non-members at all levels of their careers.

  1. Public Relations Knowledge (PRK) exam: This is the first level of accreditation and is designed for new graduates and those in the first five years of practice.
  2. Accredited in Public Relations (APR) designation: This is the recommended level of accreditation for practitioners with five or more years of experience.
  3. College of Fellows (FCPRS): This is the pinnacle of achievement for CPRS members. To be eligible for the College of Fellows, a member must have at least 20 years of professional experience and 10 years of involvement with the Society.
